About a month ago, some friends and I planned to do a Korra photoshoot. Unfortunately for me, the Avatar cosplay curse struck again. No matter which character I cosplay, if it is from Avatar, something bad happens to me ^^; I got violently ill when I cosplayed Toph. Zuko gave me heatstroke and now I cosplayed from Korra with a concussion. It was a bad idea to go out and cosplay (especially since it turned out the location we picked was hosting a summer festival that day and the loud noises really hurt my head OTL) but I still had fun. Today is a day of recovery.
I'm not supposed to be on the computer at all, but I'm super bored so I figured I'd upload a photo from the shoot.
My Korra cosplay is still a work in progress. I want to redo the blue & white armband and fix up the boots. I will also be getting a wig for Korra since using my real hair is actually a lot more difficult than I thought it would be.
I'm hoping to get the costume 100% done in August and get some more photos, but we will see if there is time for that.
I've got 3 conventions quickly approaching and at least 8 costumes to make for myself.
Gonna be a busy little bee!

This cosplay turned out so awesome!

But, please, do yourself and everyone a favour and be a little (and with a little, I mean really) careful with yourself. I hope you're feeling better now.
