This was my Saturday cosplay for Aki Con: Sakura Haruno of Naruto.

Sakura was actually the first character I wanted to cosplay from Naruto, but when I decided to cosplay from Naruto, her Shippuden outfit wasn't released and I didn't want to do her Genin outfit. Why? Because I have a birthmark on my leg that I am pretty conscious about. I will tend to avoid characters with bare legs (unless I really love them like Sora and Michiru) so instead of cosplaying Sakura, I chose to cosplay Sasuke because he had the leg wrappings. So I was extremely happy that I finally got to be Sakura- the one I wanted to cosplay from the start.

Also, a HUGE thank you to *twinfools who was my sexy, amazing Sasuke. *Kran-it who was my funny and awesome Kakashi. *PhantomThief who was my annoyingly amazing Naruto face XD And, of course, hugs to *HoshiAkita who was my Karin face! It was so much fun cosplaying with all of you.

Haha, Sakura is my very first cosplay. I did the Genin outfit for Otakon 2008 and I recently did her Shippuden outfit this past Otakon 2009. Her Shippuden is deffinatly my favorite too! :3

I used a combination of things ^^; Lip liner, acrylic paint, concealer, blush and a bit of powder.

I know you're asking her, but you can use pink face paint (it's like oil pastelly crayons) that you can get from a local craft store. It lasted all day for me out in the hot sticky weather in July when I cosplayed Shippuden Sakura, and it's really easy to get off!
