Ranma: Ryoga Hibiki

I finally got to cosplay Ryoga! This was a costume that I started in January last year, but never got around to finishing. *twinfools and I wanted to cosplay Ranma 1/2 around Chinese New Years last year so when that didn't happen, we decided we would make sure we did it this year.

Ranma 1/2 was actually the first manga I bought so this series definitely holds special meaning for me. Ryoga is my favourite character from the series so I wanted to cosplay him first. Now, in the manga, Ryoga's shirt has a texture in it and in the anime it didn't (for obvious reasons). But whenever I think about Ryoga, I always imagine his shirt to have the texture that Rumiko Takahashi gave him so I wanted to do that version. Also, because I started making this costume so long ago, I couldn't find the pants I had made for him OTL. I'm sure it's probably still in a box because I'm not fully unpacked from moving yet. So I had to grab a pair of my exercising pants. When I get a chance to do another shoot, I'll make sure to find the proper pants. And bring my parasol I left it over with all of our stuff so I didn't really get a shot with it XD
