This photo is old. I cosplayed Princess Garnet back in 2009 and it was definitely a challenge. I had never done any sort of embroidery or detailing like that before. Nor had I ever sewn a dress like this. I spent four days doing the detailing alone and my hands were so cramped up by the end of it. Looking back at this costume now, I hate it lol But I was so proud of the effort I had put into it and considering that I was just learning to sew, I was happy with the results. I've had a new version of this costume for almost a year, but haven't gotten any photos in the new version yet. Hopefully soon! Until I do, enjoy this skeleton in my cosplay closet XD
